Summit Peak Roofing: a demo build for a roofing contractor
A full local-service website for a fictional residential and commercial roofer, built to show the standard we work to. Fourteen pages, one for every area it covers, and a quote form designed for a phone.

Summit Peak Roofing is a fictional business, set in Tampa, Florida. The site is real and live; the business, its reviews and its contact details are not.
Measured on the live demo
Why we built it
Summit Peak Roofing is not a real business. We built it to show a roofer what their website could be, on a live site they can open on their own phone, rather than describing it in a sales call. The reviews on it are labelled as samples, and the contact details are placeholders.
What’s in it
- Fourteen pages. A homepage, a page for each of the main jobs (roof repair, roof replacement, storm damage and commercial roofing), about and contact pages, and a page for each area served.
- Six area pages for local search. Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Brandon, Riverview and Wesley Chapel each get their own page, written for the way people in that area search.
- A quote form built for a phone. The first thing on the homepage, short enough to fill in one-handed, with a sticky call bar so the phone number is always a tap away.
- An annotated roof. A section that shows the six parts that decide how long a roof lasts, so the homeowner understands what they are paying for.
- A financing calculator. A homeowner can work out the monthly cost before they call.
How it performs
Every figure on this page is measured on the live demo, not claimed. It scores 100 for Lighthouse performance, loads in about a tenth of a second in real-world tests, and ships no JavaScript bundles. You can re-run the Lighthouse test yourself in a browser in under a minute.
