Why we built it

Meadowlark Roofing Co. is not a real business. We built it to show a roofer in hail country what their website could be, on a live site they can open on their own phone, rather than describing it in a sales call. There are no reviews, ratings or licence numbers on it, and the phone number is a reserved 555 placeholder.

What’s in it

  • Eighteen pages. A homepage, a page for each of the five main jobs (roof replacement, hail and storm damage, roof repair, insurance claim help, and gutters and ice dams), contact, thank-you and privacy pages, and a page for each area served.
  • A bento-grid hero with the form built in. The headline, a photo of the crew, a four-field inspection form and a “Hail last night?” tile all sit above the fold, so a homeowner can ask for help without scrolling.
  • Eight area pages for local search. Kansas City, Overland Park, Olathe, Lee’s Summit, Independence, Blue Springs, Liberty and Shawnee each get their own page, written around the housing stock in that part of the metro.
  • Insurance guidance that stays honest. How a hail claim usually runs in Missouri and Kansas, what a roofer can and cannot do for you, and a pointer to the Kansas Attorney General’s roofer registry.
  • A form that works without JavaScript. It posts to a small Cloudflare function and lands on a thank-you page, so it works on any phone, even with scripts switched off.

How it performs

Every figure on this page is measured on the live demo, not claimed. In mobile Lighthouse tests the homepage scores 100 for performance and 100 for accessibility, with no layout shift, and the site ships no JavaScript bundles. You can re-run the Lighthouse test yourself in a browser in under a minute.
